There isn't to much of a difference from the last demo, but since a lot of you were no doubt able to even play that build I've removed the game launcher I tried to implement and added a few new features, I've also decided that I will only be working on the Mortal Story Path which is everything except the Mer and the Demons, but once the first episode is complete and has been fully released I may work on the Story Path Of The Mer. I just ask that you try to be as patient with me as possible as I am the sole developer and this is more of a passion project so I need time. For those updating from the last build, make sure to uninstall and delete the previous versions.

Had to make a quick update because I had Councilman Edwards set as Actor two which doesn't work in multiplayer since Player 2 is Actor 2 so I moved him down to Actor 11 since I only allow 10 players in a session. There was also a small bug with the multiplayer settings where you could only enter one letter when changing your username so its been fixed too.

8/23/2023, 9:24pm Est:

Had to do a quick bugfix update as I had forgot the map transfer event for the Orvakks.

9/8/2023, 2:13am Est:

Not much of an update, however I fixed the issues I was personally having with multiplayer not working correctly. Some features have been removed in this build as well, however multiplayer should be fully functional now. I reverted back to the original ANET by Phoenix KageDesu which is depreciated but I find that it works out a hell of a lot better. Unfortunately we still don't have PvP thanks to conflicts with most of the plugins I use....but I think you'll find that it works as intended. In multiplayer you are now prompted to select a character and it is best to find a mirror of reflection to change your name, so long as you have a save file your name will always be remembered when you select your character but that character can only be selected once by one player. This is just temporary and may be changed in the future.

Fixed a minor bug where the patchnotes feature wasn't working correctly, had to remove the plugin than add it back. No other changes have been made.

Further releases for TOA will now be delayed for a while, I have acquired the majority of the Winlu series and will be completely redoing all the maps from scratch, but this hopefully means better looking maps. I have absolutely no idea how long it'll be before I have the first few maps created and populated with NPCs...and I will probably also be working on a secondary MV project as well....so...you'll need to bear with me. Please don't be too upset okay? This will take me a good while...maybe a few months or possibly longer. I'll try not to make you guys wait too long though okay? Before I start this, I'll try and get multiplayer fixed for the current version since its apparently not working right....always an issue with multiplayer...I swear...

10/2/2023, 4:30pm Est:

I've changed my mind, I had converted to MZ and was going to recreate the project there but instead I'll just continue it in MV. I am going to make an attempt to make the game into a browser game but may need to wait for itch.io to respond to my request for more file space so please bear with me. So today, after I make this Change Log update and hit save I will be working on TOA some more as well as trying to get multiplayer working correctly so please bear with me guys....I am trying so very hard. I am waiting for support to get back to me still, but it is very likely I will have the ability to do a web browser build sometime within the next few days.

I just discovered that I can still build to MAC, if you have at least version 12.2.1 of MAC OS X than you should be able to run the application. I will now, rather than doing a web build will do a windows and a MAC build. I shall be uploading both versions shortly.

10/2/2023, 3:02pm Est:

The tech demos have been uploaded and it does in fact work for mac builds! However multiplayer wasn't working on MAC so I'm going to try NET Z one more time, please check back in a few more hours for the new update.

10/2/2023, 5pm Est:

New Tech Demos for both MAC OS X and for Windows have been uploaded and as far as Windows goes it looks like ANET Z may be working again. I'll need some people to run a test though.

10/2/2023, 7pm Est:

Small changes, fixed the issue where you crashed after trying to view the statues and fixed the job postings to where they should now show up in your quest journal. I forgot to remove multiplayer from the pause menu, it has no function as it used a different plugin and it will be removed within the next few days.

I haven't worked on this project in about two months or so but today I fixed a few little bugs, I'm going to work on the project this month and try to finish making the first episode for the mortals. I basically work on this game at my own pace, on my own schedule since its currently just me developing it. I understand its not one of those fancy maker games with its own original assets but its my first game ever. If it does well enough than maybe I'll pay an artist to make me some art to make a better game with. But until than, I'm too poor guys...sorry. Anyways, I noticed when I booted up the game that you couldn't even open the door so thats fixed and than the slime was on the map before the job was picked up...thats also been fixed. These are really the only two bugs I fixed...there may have been a few other things but I can't recall. Anyways, you guys should be able to progress now in the demo.
